Voluntary Corporate Actions

 

To participate in a voluntary corporate action, follow instructions for one of the methods below.

Inquiry/Problem Ticket (recommended method)

To ensure your request receives highest priority, submit an Inquiry/Problem ticket via Account Management. To do this, go to Account Management and from the menu select Services & Miscellaneous, then select Corporate Actions.


Email

Note: While email continues to be accepted by TRADEX, email receives the lowest priority. Tradex  recommends all requests be submitted via an Inquiry/Problem Ticket, in order to ensure prompt processing of corporate actions.

Send an email to clearing@tradexdirect2.com and in the carbon copy line cc: help@tradexdirect2.com.

  • In the subject line please use the key words: exercise, tender, warrants, rights, voluntary corporate action, election, etc.
  • In the text of the request you must state:
    • Your account number
    • Your username
    • The issue or description of the security (name and symbol)
    • The quantity that you wish to tender or exercise (you cannot simply say "all," you must state an exact amount).

Instructions received after 12:00 PM on the day prior to the expiration date of the offer will be handled on a best efforts basis.

After TRADEX receives the completed instructions, you will receive confirmation of receipt of your instructions within one business day. If you do not receive confirmation, you must contact the TRADEX Help Desk at help@tradexdirect2.com.
