Account Minimum Deposits
Balance Minimums
In order to open a new account you must deposit US$5,000 (or US$ equivalent). As per US regulations, in order to trade in a margin account you must have at least US$ 2,000 (or US$ equivalent). In addition, US Regulators require US$ 25,000 (or US$ equivalent) to Day Trade stocks and options.
Monthly Activity Fee Minimums
TRADEX caters to serious traders and investors and requires its customers to spend a monthly activity fee minimum which may include commissions, market data fees, and other fees. Those customers spending less then the activity fee minimums (as stated below) in any given month will be charged the difference.
In addition to monthly fee minimums we pass through market data fees from the exchanges for any real-time market data service which a customer chooses to subscribe. Customers choosing to subscribe to US non-professional real-time market data will have the US$ 20 (or equivalent) monthly fee waived if they spend US$60 or more in activity fees for the month.
